Dates & Hours
Haunted House of Creeps began as a backyard house haunt in 2020 when most haunted houses were shut down for the season due to state mandates. There wasn't much for people to enjoy so we decided to build our own walk thru display on our front lawn and backyard and invite the community! Local teens volunteered as actors, neighbors donated candy and hot chocolate and before we knew it, we had hundreds of people lined up to enter the haunt!
In 2023 we were invited to build our haunted attraction at the Boomers Stadium during their Schaumburg Halloween event. We built on the Suites level of the stadium with approximately 1,200sq to build in a matter of 3 weeks! This year, we have expanded our haunt and will be located on the concourse level of the stadium with approximately 4,500 sq feet of haunted house scares! Along with expanding the haunt, we have also expanded our hours and dates for the 2024 season.

Each ticket includes access to the VIP: Very Insane Person, Bar and lounge, located in the lobby entrance of Wintrust Stadium. VIP hosts a full-service bar and invites guests to socialize in the ghostly lounge with other haunted-house guests, before making their way through The House of Creeps.
VIP bar does not require a haunted house ticket in order to enter, and is open during carnival hours October 18 - 20 and October 25 - 27, as well as October 28 - November 2. Tickets for The House of Creeps are encouraged to be purchased ahead of time, as it is expected to sell out each night.
VIP Bar & Lounge
NEW! The House of Creeps is hosting a designated*“Kids Hour,” for those under 13-years of age, from 2:00pm - 5:00pm for $10 each on select dates, so children can experience a less scary version of the haunted house.
Kids Hour
The Haunted House of Creeps is transforming Wintrust Field into a spooktacular haunted house! Tickets for the haunted house are $17.50 per person through 10/31 and $15 per person on 11/1 and 11/2 for the BLACKOUT Dates. Parking is FREE from 10/28-11/2.

IS THE WALK THRU HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE?
Yes, with minor limitations. Wheelchairs will not be able to go thru our squeeze room, vortex tunnel or the cage maze. We do have a path where you will be able to meet your group after those sections.
IS THE HAUNTED HOUSE CLOSED DURING BAD WEATHER?
The haunted house is covered so rain or snow will not effect the haunted house tour. If there are severe weather alerts on the day you are planning to attend we suggest you check out our social media where we are able to provide last minute updates of any closures or modifications.
HOW CAN I GET A JOB TO WORK FOR THE HAUNTED HOUSE?
We hire in August and September. Apply here!
CAN I TAKE PICTURES/VIDEOS INSIDE THE HAUNTED HOUSE?
No, you will be warned and/or escorted out of the attraction if you take photos or videos inside the haunted house. You may, however, take photos on the outside premises of the walk thru itself. We will have multiple photo ops available before and after the walk thru.
ARE THERE BATHROOMS?
Porta Potties are available outside in the carnival areas at any time of your visit. There are restrooms available once you exit the haunted house on the concourse level and on the Schaumburg Club level, both of these areas require ticket purchase of the haunt to access.
ARE THERE DISCOUNTS FOR LARGE GROUPS?
Contact us for group prices but please keep in mind, in order to let everyone have the fullest experience, we limit group sizes to a maximum of six patrons. Large groups take away from the experience for everyone in the group and slows down the progression of the flow for other guests.
IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT?
We leave it up to the parents discretion but recommend children under the age of 12 to visit the haunt during our KID SCARE hours: 2-5pm Oct 18-20 and Oct 25-27
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
There is no dress code and costumes (without a mask on) are allowed. Do not wear anything that could snag onto a prop or other person such as loose chains. We only recommend you wear comfortable shoes so you're ready to run for your life...
In addition, lighters, e-cigarettes, pocket-knives, masks, hand-held accessories, jewelry, and large purses/bags are not allowed inside the haunted houses. We recommend leaving them at home or the trunk of your car.
CAN I BUY MY TICKETS ONLINE?
Yes it is actually recommended you purchase tickets online to reserve your time slot instead of waiting at the box office to purchase your tickets. Tickets purchased online are also priced at a discount compared to day of, onsite prices.
WHAT IF I BOUGHT TICKETS BUT CAN'T MAKE THAT DAY?
Contact us ASAP so we can help make any arrangements to better accommodate you.
We do not offer refunds after tickets have been purchased.
CAN I BRING FOOD OR DRINKS?
Food and drink is not allowed inside of the haunted house but we do have both available for purchase. There is a bar upon entering the facility before you head to the concourse level. The Schaumburg Club will also be open during haunted house hours to enjoy food and drinks.
